RECENSIONE  di Francesca Ghiribelli Un libro particolare per la sua natura dialettale, visto che oggi si pubblicano sempre meno volumi che riportano dialetti italiani. La sua particolarità sta nel fatto di riuscire a introdurre ogni capitolo con una poesia in dialetto siciliano e in italiano, è una peculiarità simpatica e che risulta d’impatto al lettore per la sua natura breve. Un modo per farlo riavvicinare ai dialetti italiani in una storia che si divide fra racconto, poesia e romanzo. Altra suggestiva caratteristica sono le illustrazioni nitide e dinamiche inserite nel corso della narrazione. “Lu Bummularu racconta Selinos” ha un’ambientazione nel felice periodo dell’antica Grecia nel 628 a.C. a Selinunte. Protagonista della storia è un oggetto realizzato da un giovane artigiano di nome Obelius. Un oggetto tramandato fino agli anni Sessanta.
