I already knew that the Ancient Greeks colonized southern Italy, possibly even before the Latin tribes arrived. This book dives into that fascinating time, telling the story of a young boy named Obelius from his perspective. He's a young craftsman who creates a special piece of pottery that is passed down for generations, even reaching the 20th century. The language is simple and clear, making it perfect for children, teens, and young students - especially those who might not enjoy traditional history books.
